Supply Chain Project Manager

Optimix is continuing to grow and is recruiting a Supply Chain Project Manager (M/F) to strengthen its teams and support the roll-out of its XFR – Forecast & Replenishment solution to key accounts and mid-market customers.

FUTURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Reporting to the Director of Projects and Services, you will be at the heart of projects to deploy our XFR solution with our customers, major players in the retail, specialized distribution and trade sectors.

You will work in a technical, data-driven and international environment, on projects with high business stakes, requiring rigor, analytical skills and an understanding of Supply Chain issues.

MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing the XFR solution at our customers’ sites.

As such, you will be involved in the entire project cycle:

🔹 Framing & design

  • Understanding customer needs in terms of sales and procurement forecasts
  • Analysis of existing processes and supply chain data
  • Leading workshops with business and IT teams
  • Contribution to the definition of target solutions and XFR settings

🔹 Implementation & deployment

  • Project management (planning, risks, stakeholder coordination)
  • Functional configuration and support for solution implementation
  • Production of or contribution to functional recipes
  • Deployment and change management support (training, user support)

🔹 Monitoring & control

  • Project progress monitoring and reporting
  • Interface between customer teams and Optimix internal teams
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our methods and solution.

PROFILE REQUIRED

🎓 Training

  • Graduate of an engineering school or a Master’s degree with a technical focus
  • Engineers are preferred to business school graduates

Experience & skills

  • First successful experience (or 2-3 years) in IT / Supply Chain project management
  • Supply Chain experience is a plus, particularly in the areas of :
    • Sales forecasts
    • Replenishment / inventory management
  • Experience in the following sectors is particularly appreciated:
    • Food distribution
    • Household appliances
    • Bazaar
    • Hygiene / Beauty
      (high sales volumes)

Technical skills

  • Ability to perform SQL queries (PostgreSQL) or strong technical aptitude to quickly build up skills
  • At ease with data, business intelligence tools and complex software environments
  • Strong interest in supply chain solutions and forecasting/planning systems

Personal qualities

  • Analytical mind, rigor and sense of structure
  • Autonomy, technical curiosity and the ability to “get your hands dirty”.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a variety of people (business / IT)
  • Taste for teamwork and demanding environments

Languages

  • Professional English required (international context)
